Top 3 Cartoon Characters

There are numerous "Top 3" you can write about for example, your favorite sports team, or your favorite foods or even your favorite candy. But i have chosen Cartoon Characters. My Top 3 Cartoon Characters are Bugs Bunny, Huey Dewey and Louie and Mickey Mouse.

1) Bugs Bunny is fictional character that appears in many different shows having feuds with other fictional characters as Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Daffy Duck, Tasmanian Devil and Wile E. Coyote. Sometimes the characters refer to him as "Bugs" or "Bugsy" which usually means "crazy" or "loopy." I choose Bugs Bunny because he knows how to keep kids, well, kids. He keeps you guessing, what's going to happen next? Is Daffy Duck or Elmer Fudd ever going him? He knows how to let loose and have fun as well as keep you laughing.

2) The next character I have chosen is "The Trio of Duck Brothers" - Huey, Dewey and Louie. The three brothers are Donald Duck's nephews. In most of the TV shows, Heuy, Dewey and Louie would often behave in a rambunctious manner, and sometimes conjuring up attack plans to practice on their Uncle, Donald. I chose the three brothers because it shows that sometimes you should get out of the box you're stuck in and have some fun.

3) And my last character is Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is one of the most recognizable symbols in the world. He is the type of character that brings a little kid out of everyone. His greatest joy is to spread laughter and love. I chose him because when you see him you realize that just breaking loose and having fun can make each day better.

A Passion for Stones

In general, "The Lottery" is about a normal town that gets together every year on one particular day and pick sheets of paper out of a box. Every year that box sits in a different place, one year it sat on the shelf of a grocery store, until it needs to be brought out again. And is placed in the center of the town. Everyone goes about their life like nothing is going to happen. The women and the girls in the town stand to one side and talk gossip amongst themselves. Where as the boys gather stones to play with. They all start to gather in the center of the town. One by one their name gets called, and one by one they gather up by the box and pick a sheet. When its all done, the last person with a black dot on the piece of paper, is considered the chosen one. The chosen one gradually walks off the platform continuously yelling "It isn't fair, it isn't fair." That was the last thing that came out of her mouth before she was living with the stones.

"The Lottery," reminds me of real life, because people hurt other people in one way or another, whether its taunting them or beating them. For example, "Pink Day," when a boy came to school in a pink shirt, a couple of boys started to make fun of him. But then the next day, everyone was wearing a pink shirt. Just because someone is different doesn't make it right to hurt him/her.

"The Perils of indifference," by Elie Wiesel is along the same lines as "The Lottery." The only difference is The Lottery is fictional and Perils of Indifference is real. Perils of indifference is about how we hurt people everyday and we don't even care. For example, the Holocaust, or Rwanda.

Writing a Review

When it comes to writing a review, many people write about different things such as sports, movies, bands, etc. But i have choosen to write about colors. Colors can represent all sorts of things, such as your mood or your favorite color. But then again, colors can just represent colors. I have choosen three colors to use: Blue, Red and Green.

1) The color BLUE can represent all sorts of things; it just depends on the type of color of blue you choose. If you choose "sky blue," that can represent the beginning of a new and beautiful morning. Where as "blue" can just represent the water that you drink or the water you swim in.

2) On one side the color RED can represent love, romance and warmth. But on the other side it can represent anger, passion or the blood from a murder. It just depends on the color you use or the context you use it in.

3) The last color I have choosen is GREEN. The color green can represent sickness, nature, health or growth. In different parts of the world, green represents something different. In some Asian cultures, green is used for sickness or nausea. But in china, green is used for the sunrise, and life or growth. But again it depends on the color you choose and how you wear it or the context you use it in.

Superpowers

If i had to choose any superpower in the world, I would have to choose to be invisible. I choose this superpower because you can blend in with anything and everything at anytime you want. Invisibility is the coolest superpower ever. Think of this, if you were hungry and had no money, you could just turn invisible and walk right into a fast food place or a fancy restaurant and grab a plate of food and walk right out, without anyone seeing you. Or say, if you wanted to go to Cabo, San Lucas, but you didn't have the money. You could just walk right onto the plane and no one would know. Any superpower would be cool to have, but being invisible would be the coolest.
